Chief Communications Officer
Adam Grossberg is WebMD’s Chief Communications Officer, a position he’s held since October 2013. In this capacity, Mr. Grossberg is responsible for the company’s corporate brand, marketing and communications activities, which include corporate social responsibility, customer engagement, employee and executive communications, events, industry relations, media relations, and social media strategy. Earlier in his career, Mr. Grossberg served as WebMD’s Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications.
Prior to rejoining WebMD, Mr. Grossberg served as Vice President of Global Communications for Bausch + Lomb from March 2011 through August 2013 where his responsibilities included public relations, employee communications, corporate advertising and branding, social media, investor relations, corporate contributions and community affairs, and corporate events.
Previously, Mr. Grossberg held a number of leadership roles at Yahoo!, Inc. between 2007 and 2010, including Vice President of Corporate Communications. During his tenure, Mr. Grossberg led communications for the company’s North American Advertising, Publishing and Media businesses, as well as global communications in support of the company’s Search Alliance with Microsoft.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Grossberg held a variety of communications roles at some of the best-known media and technology companies including EMI Group, Lucent Technologies’ Bell Labs and Intel Corporation. He also worked for iMediation, a Paris-based software start-up and Ruder Finn, a global PR agency.
Mr. Grossberg holds a BA in Communications from the University of Hartford in Connecticut.
